Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing professional grooming services to our furry clients. Responsibilities:
- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling pets according to client preferences and breed standards
- Handle and restrain pets in a calm and gentle manner during grooming sessions
- Assess the overall health of pets and report any abnormalities or concerns to pet owners
- Clean and maintain grooming tools and equipment to ensure proper hygiene and functionality
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate records
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment for both pets and staff members
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, grooming techniques, and pet care knowledge
-Experienced or willing to learn how to drive a mercedes sprinter van to be able to drive to the clients location (mobile grooming spa)
Skills:
- Previous experience as a Pet Groomer or in a related role such as Veterinary Technician or Animal Caretaker
- Proficiency in handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Strong knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary (e.g., lifting large dogs onto grooming tables)
- Excellent communication skills with both clients and team members
- Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality grooming services
- Passion for animals and dedication to their well-being
